Wil Akins

Vice President – Wil Akins joined Battle Group in 2022. His efforts are focused on the Firm’s investment activities, including investment sourcing, transaction execution, and ultimately supporting the growth, expansion, and success of the Firm’s portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Battle Group, Wil worked at TI Partners, a technology, media, and telecommunications-focused M&A advisory firm in Atlanta, where he focused on the valuation, due diligence, and execution of M&A advisory and equity capital funding for privately held companies. Prior to TI Partners, Wil started his career at Truist Securities (formerly SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) in the Real Estate Corporate and Investment Banking group. Wil earned his BBA degree in finance from the University of Georgia, where he graduated with honors.​
