Cliff Orr

Partner – Cliff Orr joined Battle Group in 2016. His efforts are focused on leading the Firm’s investment activities, including investment sourcing, transaction execution, and ultimately supporting the growth, expansion and success of the Firm’s portfolio companies.

Cliff’s career has focused on small- and medium-sized business formation, investment and growth. His experience spans private equity and public markets, particularly enterprises with under $100 million revenue, and includes both public and private company board governance.

Before joining Battle Group, Cliff served as senior vice president with Concourse Capital Management, an Atlanta-based alternative investment firm and as managing director with JAM Capital Partners, a private investment partnership focused on Southeast-based lower middle-market operating companies. Prior investment roles include work with Privet Fund Management and Timbervest. Cliff began his career as a practicing attorney. Cliff earned an MBA with Distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a JD and BBA, both magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia. Cliff is a member of the State Bar of Georgia (inactive) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
