Darren DeVore

Strategic Partner – Darren DeVore has served as a member of Battle Group’s Advisory Board and a Strategic Partner since 2016. In these roles, Darren supports the firm’s activities with a focus on (1) investor relations/strategy, (2) advisor/executive recruiting activities, and (3) our investment process.

Darren also serves as Managing Partner of Broad Pine Investments, the holding company for various private equity and venture capital activities. Broad Pine maintains investments in several businesses, including:

• ArunA Biomedical: a company established to advance the development of therapeutics for CNS and other neurodegenerative disorders and provide drug delivery options for partners from exosomes derived from its proprietary line of neural stem cells. Darren is a member of ArunA Biomedical’s Board.
• North Cape Investments: a private equity real estate business focused on the acquisition and management of skilled nursing facilities. Darren serves as a Principal of North Cape Investments.

Broad Pine has funded and successfully exited investments in several businesses, including The Carroll Organization, CSC Ventures, Terra Partners, and Puzzle Social.

Prior to Broad Pine, Darren spent 14 years as a Managing Director of Artisan Partners L.P., a leading global investment management firm. He designed and implemented marketing and client service strategies, growing the firm from approximately $800 million in assets under management to over $65 billion for clients globally. Before that, Darren spent 13 years as Vice President at Pacific Financial Asset Management Corporation (PIMCO Advisors), where he performed various functions, including launching a PIMCO subsidiary, Blairlogie Capital Management, a Scottish investment firm based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Darren holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia.
