Jeff Siegal

Strategic Partner – Jeff Siegal has served as a member of Battle Group’s Advisory Board since 2017 and supports the Firm’s activities with a focus on (1) investor relations/strategy, (2) advisor/executive recruiting activities, and (3) our investment process.

Jeff is also a Board Director and Senior Advisor for McChrystal Group and a Partner at MK Partners LLC. Jeff was previously a Partner and founder at Metalmark Capital, a leading private equity investment firm that focuses on the energy, healthcare, and industrials sectors and whose principals have invested $7 billion of equity across multiple funds. Prior to joining Metalmark Capital and its predecessor organizations in 2001, Jeff served as the Chief Financial Officer of @stake, a leading cyber security engineering firm, and as a Senior Managing Director at Castle Harlan, a private equity investment firm.

Prior to entering the private sector, Jeff was a Captain in the United States Air Force. He served as a program manager for the Worldwide Military Command and Control System, one of the largest command, control and communications modernization programs in the Department of Defense which at the time was a DSARC level program.

Jeff received a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics, cum laude, from Clark University and a M.A. in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
