Strategic Partner – Jim Trowhill joined Battle Group as a Strategic Partner in 2017. In this role, Jim supports business development and value creation activities across our partner companies, including the development and execution of capture management and proposal strategies, mentoring of executive personnel, and contributing to strategic planning efforts with a particular focus on science and technology development activities and next-generation technologies. He also leads the Firm’s activities and interaction within technical incubator environments, helping to facilitate and organize partnerships and collaborations with leading-edge researchers and entrepreneurial companies.
Jim is a Principal at JTEC Consulting, LLC, an Atlanta-based provider of business capture management and proposal leadership services to dynamic, growth-oriented technical organizations. He retired from Accenture PLC (www.accenture.com) in 2013 after a 24-year career in various leadership positions, including Client Account Lead in the Accenture DoD Account and Partner on the Accenture’s Federal Practice Board of Directors. In that role, Jim had direct responsibility for implementing large information technology transformation projects across the US government, including civilian, Department of Defense, and intelligence agencies. Annual revenues increased by 3.7x under his leadership, from $300 million to $1.4 billion.
Jim earned a MBA degree from the University of Michigan.
