Strategic Partner – Vlad Miskovic joined Battle Investment Group as a Strategic Partner in 2020. In this role, Vlad supports the Firm’s aerospace efforts across partner company governance and strategic process development.
Vlad has built his 24-year career in several leadership positions at Pratt and Whitney, Paradigm Precision and most recently Tecomet. His deep aerospace, defense, industrial and medical device experience includes:
- Tecomet – Vlad joined Tecomet as EVP Aerospace and Defense in 2016. He was responsible for all elements of global Strategy/Growth and P&L. Under Vlad’s leadership this business grew 2X in a 3- year period. In 2019, his responsibility expanded to the entire portfolio. As EVP Product Management, Vlad was accountable for $600M P&L along with product and market strategy, R&D and innovation, global program management, and overall product lifecycle management across orthopedic and MIS medical devices, to include aerospace and defense business.
- Paradigm Precision – Vlad joined Paradigm Precision in 2005 as the Program Manager for GE Aviation product line. Over the years, his responsibility grew thru Operational leadership of a $50M business unit and all aspects of growth and operations in support of key Aerospace customers. From 2011-2016, Vlad was leading a team responsible for $400M Business development over multiple global sites and various precision machined and fabricated components in a contract manufacturing environment.
- Pratt and Whitney – Vlad joined Pratt in 1997 and spent 8 years in various leadership roles across multiple teams and geographical locations. During his tenure at Pratt, Vlad has designed turbine blades, supported several IPT/CIPT teams thru operations, as well as successfully completed Aftermarket Leadership Development Program. Most notable role was Product/CIPT leader for F100 engine turbine components supporting USAF, ANG, and USG with significant involvement within Operations, Supply chain and Engineering at P&W.
Vlad provides advisory services to aerospace and medical industry investors and is also on advisory board for a startup company manufacturing oxygen powder. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as MS in Advanced Management from Trident University.
